Picking up after quite a hiatus, I can't promise I'll be good about posting.I did want to note that Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's children are named Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper, and Trig. How cute is that!
Also, you know I'm downloading Google's new web browser, Chrome, when it comes out tomorrow. I so heart Google.
This weekend I saw Let's Have A Ball improv comedy at the Upright Citizen's Brigade theater, which included Scott Adsit from the show 30 Rock (shown right). Also had an amazing sweet tofu dessert at Kyotofu. I went kayaking in the Hudson River, which was fun. I also ate at a new place, Broadway East, a beautiful-looking restaurant that isn't vegetarian, but I think three of its six entrees were vegetarian. The food was yummy (though not quite up to the prices), and that kind of lush interior really seemed out of place for the remote-corner-of-Chinatown locale. Definitely a find. Finished off with tea at Cha-an, definitely the nicest tea spot I've been to, at which the waiter performed the entire ceremony of draping hot water over the teapot, pouring the tea first into another teapot, then into a tall glass (for smelling), and finally into the tiny teacup.
